The Hong Kong Representative Office of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce was established at DoBe Hub @ West Kowloon

On February 5th, the licensing ceremony of the Hong Kong Representative Office of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce and the Symposium on Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic and Trade Cooperation were held at DoBe Hub@ West Kowloon, the first project of the DoBe Group in Hong Kong.

Yang Dongsheng, the vice president of the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the president of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce, and the executive president of the DoBe Group jointly unveiled the Hong Kong Representative Office of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce. More than 30 representatives from government departments, professional service institutions and enterprises from both places, including the Invest Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Bank of China (Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Center of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, as well as Daoyuan Consulting, Yaowang Technology, Puxin Culture, Westwell Lab, Hong Kong Qiyuan, Stonevine Coffee, etc., participated in and witnessed the event, and had an exchange and discussion.

In his speech, Yang Dongsheng stated that both Shanghai and Hong Kong are the core hubs of China's opening up to the outside world and have always maintained close economic and trade exchanges. With the accelerating pace of enterprises going global, the demand for professional and high-quality services continues to rise. The Hong Kong Representative Office of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce will give full play to the roles of a window, a bridge and a platform, build an open, inclusive, resilient and dynamic economic and trade cooperation ecosystem, help enterprises integrate more efficiently into the international economic and trade system, and share the development opportunities of the "one country, two systems" policy.

Di Rong, the chief representative of the Hong Kong Representative Office of the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce, made an exchange speech. The representative office is an important extension of the "Shanghai Comprehensive Service Platform for Enterprises Going Global" in Hong Kong. Through the trinity operation mode of "platform + representative office + enterprise", it will focus on five functions: information consultation, compliance guidance, resource matching, capacity improvement and emergency services, build a cooperation network, create brand activities, establish a feedback mechanism, and help enterprises use Hong Kong as a channel to steadily explore the global market. 

The DoBe Hub@Hong Kong West Kowloon project takes advantage of the "58 - minute commuting circle" in the Greater Bay Area.
