DoBe Hosts Sino Italian Industrial Cooperation Exchange to Facilitate Precise Matchmaking for Cross-Border Business Expansion
Recently, the Florence base of the Sino Italian Design Exchange Center, operated by DoBe Group, successfully held the "Sino Italian Industrial Cooperation Exchange". The meeting invited representatives from multiple Italian industry associations and enterprises to engage in in-depth discussions on cultural creativity, urban renewal, industrial transformation, and international cooperation for SMEs.

During the exchange, representatives from various Italian institutions emphasized the strategic value of cooperation with China in their speeches. Leonardo Cavini, President of the Florence Branch of the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CONFAPI), emphasized in his speech that as one of Italy's oldest and most representative SME organizations, CONFAPI covers over 116,000 enterprises and has long served sectors such as machinery, manufacturing, food, chemicals, services, technology, and construction. He pointed out: "Its 63 local branches and 13 national professional federations are fully supporting businesses in expanding into international markets, and the potential for cooperation with Chinese enterprises is showing a sustained growth trend."
Claudio Nobler, President of the Tuscany Branch of the Italian Association of Artisans and Small and Medium Enterprises (UAI), focused on the internationalization path of traditional crafts. The association has over 138,000 member enterprises, covering handicrafts, commerce, and small and medium-sized private businesses. Through its 16 regional headquarters, 70 provincial offices, and 55 regional centers across Italy, it continuously promotes the entry of superior categories such as leather goods, olive oil, coffee, and jewelry into international markets. He noted that several member brands under UAI are actively exploring cooperation opportunities to enter the Chinese market.

Taddeo Albanese, General Director of the Tuscany Region of the Italian Independent Trade Union Confederation (CONFINTESA), offered practical advice: "Accurately obtaining policy information on the Chinese market and establishing compliant operational mechanisms are key for Italian companies to establish themselves in China." As a national trade union organization covering public administration, healthcare, and the private sector, CONFINTESA safeguards the rights of over 500,000 workers through collective labor agreements and cross-cultural training while helping companies mitigate cross-border operational risks.
Simone Sansavini, founder of the Italian digital platform Expandiamo and CEO of the Italian Trade Center, shared practical strategies for assisting businesses in entering the Chinese market through online networks and export expert resources, showcasing achievements in establishing exhibition spaces in Shanghai's Hongqiao and Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zones. Expandiamo, a digital platform dedicated to the internationalization of Italian enterprises, has built a global network of over 500 business development managers and export consultants. This network covers strategic markets in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, providing Italian SMEs with stable and secure pathways to global expansion.

Daniele Galli, founder of the Italian architecture firm SD Group S.R.L., and his partner architect Angelo Algieri presented Italy's expertise in "cultural-tourism integration" and "heritage revitalization" using the renovation project of a historic village in southern Florence as a case study. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Florence, SD Group S.R.L. primarily undertakes small-to-medium architectural projects, including urban renewal, building restoration, and commercial space development, serving clients across Tuscany and neighboring cities.
Luca Querci, partner of textile machinery manufacturer CORMATEX S.R.L., expressed expectations to deepen cooperation with Chinese enterprises in green industry transformation and circular economy. As an established company founded in 1938, CORMATEX's products have been exported to over 40 countries worldwide, serving clients including traditional textile mills, innovative sustainable brands, as well as government and research institutions. Its developed LAP FORMAIR air-laid technology can transform waste textiles into high-performance eco-friendly materials for construction, automotive, and home furnishing applications.

Dobe Group presented its strategic planning and service ecosystem in cultural and creative industrial park operations, urban renewal, and international cooperation to attendees. As an important platform for Sino-Italian economic and cultural exchange, the Sino Italian Design Exchange Center leverages its platform capabilities by integrating design resources, technological advantages, and market channels from both countries. It aims to build mutual trust and explore win-win opportunities with Italian partners in projects with international cooperation potential, promoting the integrated development of Sino-Italian design and industries.
DoBe continues to focus on the needs of enterprises from both countries, providing overseas expansion services for Chinese companies, helping them understand the Italian market and quickly integrate into the local industrial ecosystem. At the same time, it actively introduces high-quality Italian enterprises and projects interested in developing the Chinese market, connecting them with policy information and cooperation resources to help Italian businesses establish operations in China more efficiently. Leveraging its international resource network, DoBe will support Chinese and Italian enterprises in achieving more stable and far-reaching progress on the path of two-way "going global".
It is reported that DoBe plans to host the "Tale of Two Cities" cultural exchange event—Suzhou-Florence Intangible Cultural Heritage and Handicraft Festival—in Suzhou's Taohuawuli, further promoting cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Italy.
