Fudan University's Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences carries the mission of serving the national "Dual Carbon" goals and the maritime power strategy. The discipline is highly practice-oriented, requiring advanced scientific training and international perspectives. Some financially challenged students face difficulties such as insufficient opportunities for scientific training and limited industry exposure. The establishment of this student aid fund aims to help students build academic confidence and professional competitiveness through a systematic capacity-building mechanism, creating a virtuous cycle of "relieving hardship—educating—cultivating talent—giving back".

The Shanghai Water Molecule Public Welfare Foundation's Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Student Aid Fund combines disciplinary characteristics to design a funding system covering four major areas: financial aid, academic support, talent rewards, and practical education. It focuses on supporting students' needs in academic training, research practice, subject competitions, and corporate visits, meeting diverse growth requirements through differentiated funding approaches.

Through this collaboration with Fudan University, the foundation has further expanded the scope of industry-academia-research synergy. By integrating the university's research strengths with industrial resource networks, it explores new pathways to combine scientific research with practical application, thereby creating more opportunities for disciplinary advancement and student development. To date, the foundation has provided financial assistance to over a thousand disadvantaged students. It has also initiated regional collaboration in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and other areas to provide more learning opportunities and resource support for local students.

The Shanghai Water Molecule Public Welfare Foundation was initiated and established by the DoBe Group. DoBe has always integrated social responsibility into its corporate operations, having released ESG reports for three consecutive years and actively participated in charitable activities such as rural revitalization and community welfare. By building public welfare platforms and integrating social resources, it provides financial and resource support to public welfare organizations such as the Shanghai Water Molecule Foundation, using industrial strength to give back to educational development and contribute to national talent cultivation.
