DoBe Group Wins Multiple Awards at "GBE Commercial Real Estate Awards 2025"
From August 7 to 8, 2025, the "13th GBE Commercial Real Estate & Retail Innovation Forum & GBE Commercial Real Estate Awards 2025" was held in Shanghai. DoBe Group was awarded the title of "Outstanding Commercial Real Estate Operator of the Year", while its projects DoBe · Shenzhen Media Digital Creative Park (DoBePark) and DoBe TAOHUAWU won "Best Urban Landmark Complex Award" and "Outstanding Cultural-Commercial-Tourism Project of the Year", respectively.
The GBE Commercial Real Estate Awards, initiated by the GBE Architecture Forum, is a professional selection under the authoritative Asia-Pacific architecture forum. It focuses on recognizing exemplary projects in commercial real estate and urban renewal. This year's forum, themed "Resilient Growth · Scene Revolution · Value Reconstruction", brought together industry elites, scholars, designers, and investors worldwide. Discussions spanned multiple dimensions, including branding, development, and tech-data integration, to explore trends in commercial real estate and retail innovation, fostering creative thinking and advancing industry growth and urban development.

The DoBePark, awarded the "Best Urban Landmark Complex Award", is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen. Jointly renovated by DoBe Group and Shenzhen Media Group, it was formerly known as the "Shenzhen National Cartoon & Animation Industry Base" and is one of the city's cultural landmarks. With Lingnan-style architecture as its foundation, the park creates an "urban oasis" outdoor space featuring scenes such as sunlit lawns, musical dry fountains, and public leisure treehouses, creating a micro-vacation destination.
In terms of industrial positioning, it adopts the "One Park, Dual Cores" model (digital industry offices + park-style commercial consumption) to build a digital creative ecosystem. Leveraging Luohu's geographical advantages and industrial foundation, the project connects with Hong Kong and radiates across the Greater Bay Area, aiming to create the "Greater Bay Area Digital Creative Public Service Platform". It forms an industrial cluster characterized by youthful commerce and distinguished by digital film, television, and advertising, achieving the integrated benefits of "Park, Block, and Community". It has already attracted brands such as the EDward Gaming, SEPTEM COFFEE, and the phenomenally popular short-video production company Baoyibao Culture (with over 1 billion views). Through a three-year strategy of "deepening Shenzhen, connecting Hong Kong, and radiating Guangzhou", it plans to become the "super interface" for digital culture and creativity in the Bay Area.

DoBe TAOHUAWU, located in the Taohuawu Historical and Cultural Area of Gusu, Suzhou, was awarded "Annual Outstanding Cultural-Commercial-Tourism Project". A joint renovation by DoBe Group and Suzhou Historic City Group of the former Xinguang Silk Weaving Factory, officially opened in September 2024. The area carries a millennium of cultural heritage, with peach tree forests dating back to the Tang and Song dynasties, and gained fame during the Ming Dynasty through Tang Yin's poem line "In the Peach Blossom Land there is a peach blossom plot". The historic residence site complements the Suzhou-style architectural charm. Centered around the "Tang Yin" IP and situated at the hub of Gusu's central axis, the project connects cultural landmarks like North Temple Pagoda, Bao'en Temple, and Tang Yin's former residence, creating an integrated cultural-commercial-tourism block featuring "dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment".
The highest Suzhou-style garden rooftop on Building 6 overlooks the chessboard-like streets; the "Ziwei Academy" continues Tang Yin's scholarly legacy, while master workshops preserve intangible cultural heritage. In terms of business formats, Manxin Mansion integrates Tang Yin's paintings to create a poetic living experience, while The Grand House blends Suzhou classical style with youth culture; traditional Wansu cheongsams and trendy dining options intertwine to create a vibrant atmosphere. "Taowu Elegant Gathering" recreates the prosperity of Ming Dynasty markets, while the in-house Taohuawu Theater presents the immersive drama "Peach Blossoms Remain - Tang Bohu", offering audiences a penetrating urban cultural tourism experience. "Ten Scenes of Peach Blossom Cove" connects daytime tours, lantern-lit night strolls, and Pingtan performances, with incense ceremonies showcasing Jiangnan cultural characteristics. Through "humanities + peach blossoms + technology", the Peach Blossom Cove landscape is revitalized, injecting new energy into the ancient city as a tribute to Gusu.

Against the backdrop of intensifying competition in commercial real estate inventory, urban renewal is transitioning from physical space transformation to deeper industrial ecosystem construction and cultural value exploration. As a pioneer and promoter of urban renewal, DoBe focuses on transforming inventory spaces in urban core areas while balancing industrial clustering and urban function enhancement. The two award-winning projects demonstrate practical models for the industry: one activates regional economies through digital content industry clustering, while the other revitalizes ancient cities through cultural-commercial-tourism integration.
In the future, DoBe Group will adhere to the customer-centric philosophy, continuously explore new models of urban renewal, promote the development of cultural and creative industry clusters, and support the sustainable development of urban spaces and industrial upgrading through cultural empowerment and technological innovation.
